How difficult is assembly?
Assembly is relatively simple and can be completed by one or two people. You should expect to spend 10-15 minutes per module (i.e., a sofa is three modules, so it should take roughly 30-45 minutes to assemble). If you do not feel comfortable assembling the furniture on your own, you can look at our White Glove Delivery options!
Lay out all your components on a soft surface (blankets or a soft rug).
Double-check to ensure you have everything you need (it's best to open every box before assuming something is missing).
Wood is a naturally expanding material. Before shipping each set of teak frames, they are assembled and then unassembled, packaged, and shipped. Some pieces may slide together easier than others, so we recommend loosely inserting the screws and aligning each wood component first. We've found that this gives the wood a bit more flexibility. Once everything is aligned and slightly inserted, go ahead and finally tighten everything.
In each shipment, we provide an Allen wrench; however, if you have a drill with a hex drill bit, we find that this makes for a more efficient experience.
