Roundabout Lounge Collection - Limited Warranty Coverage

Who and What is Covered?
Our Roundabout Collection seating products are provided with a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This limited warranty is valid in the U.S. and Canada for the original purchaser of a Neighbor product, either directly from Neighbor or an authorized reseller. A “Defect in workmanship and materials” refers to any abnormality that impairs the product's integrity, function, or suitability for its intended household use under normal conditions.
Specifically:
- Cushions and covers are warranted for five (5) years from the delivery date against a loss of functionality due to seam failures under normal household use and outdoor conditions. Cushions and cover Sunbrella® fabric is also warranted against becoming unserviceable due to color loss, strength loss, abrasion, or pilling, from regular use and ordinary (not extreme) exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew, and atmospheric chemicals, when utilized for their intended applications.
- Cushion foam inserts are warranted for five (5) years from the date of delivery against:
- Visible indentation or sag greater than three-quarters of an inch (3/4") in the foam material/fiber below the cover level, visible when no weight is applied;
- Any edge of the insert measuring more than 3/4" off the specified dimensions;
- Splitting or cracking under normal household use and proper handling.
- Synthetic wicker and aluminum components are warranted for three (3) years from the date of delivery against physical or structural failures, damages, or deterioration that renders them unsuitable for their intended use. This includes the synthetic wicker weaving, frame integrity, and any incorporated aluminum or synthetic components, ensuring the collection's resilience and longevity against the elements.
Neighbor's liability is expressly limited to this warranty. Neighbor reserves the right to request proof of purchase or other reasonable cooperation, and to inspect any product submitted for a warranty claim. Modifications made to the product post-purchase and commercial usage invalidate this warranty.
What Will Neighbor Do Under the Limited Warranty?
Neighbor will either repair or replace a product or product part that is found to be defective in material or workmanship. At our discretion, we may choose to repair a part rather than replace the entire product. All warranty replacements will match the model, version, color, or style of the product, part, or component available at the time of replacement, which may vary from the original. Any warranty repair or replacement will not extend the warranty period nor initiate a new warranty period. There is a limit of one warranty claim per promotional product.
What Isn’t Covered by the Limited Warranty?
Excluded from this limited warranty are claims arising from:
- Ordinary wear and tear, including normal impressions under 3/4” in cushion foam (some settling is expected and not considered a “defect”); routine weathering, aging, and exposure to light or elements changing surface appearance and color; and the normal increase in softness of the foam & polyester fiber;
- Oxidation of foam and fiber due to exposure to elements including color change;
- Exposure to extreme climate/weather/environmental conditions, standing water or other excessive moisture, prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight, or exposure to flame or excessive heat;
- Exposure to harmful substances, including cleaners, lotions, pesticides, and stains, as well as damage, marking, or staining of surfaces due to contact with rubber or similar compounds;
- The colorfastness or matching of colors of textiles, including an exact match to cuttings or swatches;
- Improper maintenance or storage;
- Water rings/stains;
- Infestation, mold, or mildew;
- Misassembly, accident (human or animal), misuse or abuse, including but not limited to damage from sharp objects or imprinting from writing instruments;
- Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not prevent ordinary household use/enjoyment of the product, including natural color/grain/texture variations, character marks, and small cracks caused by the elements in natural wood;
- Natural weathering of synthetic wicker, aluminum, and plastic due to exposure to the elements, including color change;
- Expansion and contraction of wood and wood joints due to weather and elements;
- Loosening of bolts or joints over time due to weather and elements;
- Individual allergies, sensitivities, comfort preferences, and conditions, and naturally occurring aromas;
- Costs associated with covered warranty claims, such as labor/installation and shipping, except if/as noted.
